Prevalence and factors associated with obesity among adult women of Nepal

Abstract
A cross-sectional descriptive study exploring the prevalence and factors associated with obesity among adult women aged 20–59 in Ramkot VDC, Kathmandu district. Among 110 women surveyed through questionnaire-guided interviews, the prevalence of obesity and overweight was 24.5% and 1.8% respectively, with analysis of associations between BMI and caste, education, occupation and lifestyle factors.
